CLAW/SPACES Visit to Pencoed School – Thursday 24th January

Saint Gobain Ecophon are arranging a site visit to Pencoed School in Bridgend and there is an invitation for SPACES Members to attend.

Jason Burton, architect at Bridgend Council, will give a presentation on Traditional vs D&B, including information on costings.

The school, built by BAM, was completed under a traditional contract, not D&B. It has a large volume “street” running the length of the school with a variety of Ecophon wall panels in differing colours. This is a breakout, “deep learning” space, in line with ILETC thinking.

If you wish to attend, please email Shane Cryer.
